Thank you for visiting the website of Dr. Mark Nierenberg and Branchburg Chiropractic. Dr. Nierenberg strives for clinical excellence through his skilled and specific individual patient treatments, his 30 years of experience, integrity, post-graduate education and specialties, and the overall satisfaction of his patients.
As a Chiropractor, Dr. Nierenberg specializes in treating a variety of conditions, including back and neck pain, sciatica, tension/migraine/sinus headaches, muscle pain, TMJ pain, tendonitis, arthritis (some types), and joint pain in the arms or legs (extremities). What makes him unique from many of his chiropractic colleagues is that he provides specific muscle therapy on his patients during every treatment. Also, his expertise and board certifications in chiropractic sports and chiropractic orthopedics enables him to treat many conditions of the extremities including sprains and strains, rotator cuff conditions, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, plantar fasciitis, and more. His other specialty is pregnancy-related back pain/sciatica. He always provides information whenever appropriate about improving your lifestyle, diet, workout, or workplace ergonomics, with the goal of increasing the overall quality of your health. He is also experienced in treating musculoskeletal injuries from work and motor vehicle accidents.
As a CME (Certified Medical Examiner) for the Department of Transportation, Dr. Nierenberg performs physicals on commercial (CDL's), and drivers of oversized vehicles, such as landscaping trailers. Additionally, as a CME, Dr. Nierenberg is specially trained to perform FAA BasicMed physicals on private pilots, recreational pilots, student pilots, and non-commercial flight instructors.
His FMCSA National Registry Number is: 9804851290.
*Please note that masks are still required in all NJ Healthcare offices, regardless of your COVID vaccination status. Dr. Nierenberg strongly recommends COVID vaccinations and boosters for his patients, but he does not require them for treatment.
**Some f.y.i. on masks: The mask should always cover the nose and mouth, and it should fit snugly around both. If you can blow out a candle through a mask or bandana it is ineffective against COVID. KN95 masks are 95% effective against COVID transmission through the nose and mouth. Surgical and cloth masks are much less effective but offer some protection.
My mission is to provide all of my patients with the highest quality, individual, and comprehensive care possible. I will always take the time to listen to and diagnose every new patient as thoroughly and accurately as possible and treat all patients with the utmost care and respect. I will bring to you 30 years of practice experience, including 3 years as an adjunct faculty member at L.A. College of Chiropractic, and my postgraduate certifications in Chiropractic Sports, Chiropractic Orthopedics, and as a Certified Medical Examiner.
Yours in health,
